Andrew Huffer is a qualified facilitator and trainer with 16 years experience in working with managers, communities and businesses across Australia’s rural & business sectors at a local, regional, state and national level.

Andrew’s expertise includes: 

  • Workshop design and delivery;
  • Action planning; and
  • Staff development

Over the last eight years he has designed and/or delivered almost 200 professional development workshops for clients focusing on communication skills along with 200 planning and community engagement workshops.

These programs have involved participants working in different roles from a range of industries. Examples include:

  • Aviation – Maintenance managers
  • Construction & engineering – Engineers, Managing directors, Project managers
  • Finance – Accountants, Finance managers
  • Government agencies – HR managers, Project managers, Project officers
  • Health – IT staff, Nursing staff, Occupational therapists
  • Manufacturing – Production Managers, Sales managers, Supervisors

 Industry background

From 1991-2000, Andrew worked with Agriculture Victoria and Agriculture WA, assisting land managers to develop sustainable farming systems and address farm business management issues including strategic planning.  He was also involved in running workshops to assist farmers manage change, as well as designing and running training workshops for staff.

In addition to running his own consultancy business for the last eight years, Andrew has also been a partner in a café business with his wife for the last four years. This has given him further ‘hands-on’ experience in business management, promotion and management of staff
